SAT is usually conducted 5 times a year, and in the months of March, May, August, October, and December.
There are no predefined criteria for appearing for SAT exams in India. However, since SAT is mostly for undergraduate admissions abroad, you must have a high school completion certificate before applying for SAT.
The answer is subjective. The exam lasts for close to 4 hours which might be too much for some people. Also, since SAT has math portions, which also include data analysis, it could be considered difficult for someone who likes to stay away from numbers. In addition to that, the reading and writing sections test the thinking and creative ability of the test-taker, which might make the SAT look a bit tougher than other tests.
Depending on what you want to study and where you want to, there are plenty of standardized tests that you can opt for. Tests like IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT and ACT are other well-known exams required for overseas studies.
SAT lasts for 3 hours 15 minutes. If you choose to answer the Essay Section, then it lasts for 3 hours 50 minutes.
The Reading and Writing sections and the Math section are added together [800 each] to 1600. The score ranges from 400 to 1600. Any score above 1300 is close to 90 percent and above.
The essay section is not factored into the overall SAT score since that’s optional. But if you happen to choose the essay section, you will be scored on a scale of 2 to 8 based on your Reading, Analysis, and Writing [RAW].
The College Board has no restrictions on the number of times you may want to take the SAT. So go for it!
